Doritos

Entry for Doritos Competition

Camera Obscura

By blacking out an entire room, leaving just a small pin hole we created a camera obscura (pinhole camera within a room). The image outside is projected against the walls, which we covered with photographic paper and left exposed for 3 minutes. The paper was then sealed, developed and put back into the room where it had been created.

Freshers week

A bubble wrap wall designed to help freshers meet and make new friends in a relaxing and fun environment.

Festival Jacket

Staying clean at a festival is always a problem. The jacket we have created is made of multiple recycled layers. When one sections is muddied it can be removed. As more sections are removed a unique piece of festival memorabilia is created.

My vision for the future of communications

Model of installation based on the music of Luigi Nono for the Royal festival Hall live brief.

The 12 bars and notes of the music are represented by the 12 squares of the room. When seen overall it resembles a room, but as the pieces are moved around you start to notice the details of what the room is made up of. The concept is to encourage people to listen to the detail of the music and not think of it as an overall piece.

Soil Remedy

Soil contains a good bacteria, which boosts the production of serotonin and stimulates the immune system

Low levels of serotonin have been proved to be linked to depression

Our concept of seeded paper, with planting instructions is designed to encourage people to get involved with soil. When watered the piece reveals the message, leaving the reader with a positive outlook.
